Milani Cosmetic Displays
When leading US brand Milani Cosmetics began their transition from an online presence in New Zealand to a physical presence in thirty Farmers stores, Farmers recommended Creative Displays. The transition called for a mixture of pre-existing elements and new designs that presented their own challenges in the creation of the stand alone floor units. The displays also needed to meet Milani’s requirements alongside those of Farmers, including a fixed deadline for arrival in stores.
The biggest design hurdle that Creative Displays faced outside of meeting the deadline, was incorporating the existing acrylic make-up product trays. These trays are designed with custom plugs that in turn required the manufacturing of a custom track. To further highlight the cosmetics products, unique wall channels were installed behind the trays. The design team was able to engineer this genius solution to fit seamlessly with the other elements. New acrylic tester trays that are interchangeable with the existing trays were also added to the design, making for an adaptable display unit that suits both current and future products.
The final design is a stellar highlight of the company’s cosmetics products, that showcases Creative Displays’ adaptive and sleek designs. Alongside the team’s expert technical skills, tried and true project management and proactive communication ensured that Milani’s displays were ready for Farmers stores on schedule. The displays even drew praise from the wider Milani community. In a testimonial about the finished project, Tegan Evans (Product Manager at The Beauty Collective) commented that, “with the help of Creative Displays’ amazing design and craftsmanship, Milani New Zealand was awarded the ‘International Excellence’ award for the launch of Milani into Farmers at the Milani International Distributors conference in March 2019.”
